Nestled in the South Devon hills Timberline Carpentry was established in 2015. Paul Williams is the Director of the company. Prior to starting his own business Paul worked for Carpenter Oak Ltd. He has over 15 years experience and has worked on award winning projects of both contemporary and traditional design. Paul also has extensive knowledge of glazing timber frames. He has been lucky enough to work in some of the most beautiful parts of the UK and has also constructed frames in France and Germany.
Glazing Services
Timberline Carpentry Ltd also specialise in the glazing of timber frames. We use a tried and tested method often referred to as applied glazing. This gives the appearance that the glass is rebated into the timber frame and looks stunning. This method allows the timber frame to move/shrink whilst maintaining a compressed weather tight seal. Air dried oak is the preferred timber for the external cover boards but other options are available.
